Amy Koch
Political Strategist
Amy was the first woman to ever serve as Majority Leader in the Minnesota Senate. She served in the Minnesota Senate from 2005 to 2013 and led the caucus into the majority in 2010 when she flipped 16 seats as the Elections Chair. Following her tenure in the Senate, Amy worked in political consulting. In 2018, she served as the campaign manager for Karin Housley’s U.S. Senate campaign. She’s a former Russian linguist for the United States Air Force and the National Security Agency. Amy has an MBA and teaches at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. She specializes in media relations and crisis communications. In her free time, Amy plays tennis and hangs with her corgi, Margaret Thatcher.
